What's an exoskeleton? Its an insect’s external skeleton, or exoskeleton, which is made of semirigid plates and tubes. These plates are made of a plastic-like material called chitin along with a tough protein. A waterproof wax covers the plates and prevents the insect’s internal tissues from drying out. This "armor" makes it hard to kill them - spiders especially - which is why people often resort to toxic chemicals. Lucky for us, we now have something natural and completely non toxic!.
